Description

All matters pertaining to housing, community and economic development, and workforce development programs. Particular emphasis is on advocating for funding for federal programs such as the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program, Economic Development Assistance (EDA) programs, and Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.  The committee also works to refine the role of federal, state and county governments in enhancing workforce and economic development opportunities, and to create housing options for different populations.
