NACo Cyberattack Simulation: Procurement Without IT Support

Presented by the NACo County Tech Xchange and Professional Development Academy

In response to the growing threat landscape and complexity of the interdependent and networked business of counties, NACo is partnering with the Professional Development Academy and their community of CISOs, CIOS, risk managers and cyber leaders to launch cyberattack simulation training.

Registration Rates:

Current NACo members and Tech Xchange members (unlimited): $0

For current NACo members who are not Tech Xchange members (unlimited): $150 per simulation

Prepay for all four simulation exercises: $450 (a discount of 25% off of the total price of $600)
 
Counties that are not NACo members nor Tech Xchange members (unlimited): $200 per simulation

Prepay for all four simulation exercises: $600 (a discount of 25% off of the total price of $800)

The Western Interstate Region (WIR) Board of Directors

October 5, 2022 - October 7, 2022

The Western Interstate Region (WIR) Board of Directors will meet in Ontario, Malheur County, Oregon, October 5-7. The WIR Board will discuss key advocacy and policy priorities for 2023, finalize next year’s budget, meet with key stakeholders and participate in a nearby mobile tour. A detailed agenda will be forthcoming.

Members are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodations. The Boise, Idaho airport is only an hour by car from the meeting location. We recommend arriving in Boise on the afternoon of October 5 to make the evening welcome reception and leaving in the afternoon or evening on October 7.

2022 NACo Fall Board of Directors Meeting & LUCC Symposium

The National Association of Counties (NACo) Large Urban County Caucus, or “LUCC,” is the premier forum for urban county leaders and is the voice for America’s metropolitan counties before Congress and the Administration. Comprised of county executives, governing board members and other senior elected officials, LUCC members focus on urban challenges and solutions, engage in peer-to-peer information exchanges and inform national policy discussions. The LUCC Symposium is the premier national forum for the exchange of knowledge and solutions that enhance the operations of America's 133 metropolitan counties. This symposium is being held in conjunction with NACo's Fall Board of Directors Meeting.
