Grantmaking: A County Strategy to Address Racial and Ethnic Disparities in the Criminal Legal System

Wednesday, October 17, 2022 | 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Counties play a critical role in deploying resources and managing implementation of programs or policies that support the well-being of community members. By strategically investing in and partnering with community-led organizations, governments are also working to close these gaps to correct for historic disinvestment that has led to racial and ethnic disparities in the criminal legal system. This webinar will feature leaders that participated in a working group to develop a set of guiding principles to help counties administer funding more equitably, with the goal of reducing racial and ethnic disparities.
