NACo Membership Call: Understanding the 2025 Bylaws and Governance Committee’s Proposed Changes

Monday, June 23, 2025 | 3 - 4 p.m. ET

Every four years, the National Association of Counties (NACo) conducts a comprehensive review of its bylaws. For 2025, the Bylaws and Governance Review Committee—appointed by President James Gore—has dedicated significant effort to simplifying, clarifying, and modernizing both the language and structure of the association’s bylaws. These proposed changes will be presented to the full NACo membership for a vote at the Annual Business Meeting during the 2025 Annual Conference this summer in Philadelphia, Pa.

We invite you to join this NACo membership call, where Bylaws Committee Chair and NACo First Vice President J.D. Clark, along with NACo CEO and Executive Director Matt Chase, will walk you through the proposed changes and help you prepare for the upcoming vote in July.
