Artificial Intelligence: Is Your Data and Data Governance ready for AI Opportunities

Join NACo and Whitney Phillips, the State Privacy Officer of Utah in an overview of Utah’s collaborative approach with the 29 counties in Utah on Data Privacy. You will hear how the state has provided “privacy health checks” to both large and small counties. Whitney will also cover how they approach notification of data breaches and pending legislation that will affect the handling of data, both with privacy and transparency. Along with several counties, attendees will hear about AI policies and toolkits that they have developed, which can be useful for any county.
